Ebay GivingworksThis April and May, eBay Giving Works (eBay's dedicated program for charity listings), will be shining a Spotlight on the Environment. eBay is encouraging everyone to support organizations protecting the earth, and Orange County Coastkeeper was granted our very own spotlight.

While you're getting ready to do your spring cleaning, be sure to think about items that you may depart with because your garbage can be someone else's treasure. So, don't throw it away, make a profit with a non profit!

EARTH DAY

Earth DayIt's beginning to look a lot like Earth Day! Come visit Coastkeeper's booth at the following community events:

  • April 19, 9 am-5 pm: UCI Earth Day 2008 This solar-powered event will featured interactive, hands-on booths and displays, earth-friendly vendors and recycled art & much more!
  • April 20, 10 am-4 pm: Earth Day at the Back Bay-  At the Muth Interpretive Center, Coastkeeper will partner with the Dept. of Fish & Game to host a booth all about wetlands and water quality!
  • April 20, 12 pm-4 pm: Earth Day with the LAB and the Camp -  We're joining The LAB & The CAMP for their 15th annual celebration of the planet and its natural resources.  This event is free and open to all.  Enjoy live music, food samplings, giveaways and more.
