The Mission of Orange County Coastkeeper is
“To Protect and Preserve the Region’s Watersheds and Marine Habitats Through
Education, Advocacy, Restoration, Research, and Enforcement”
Our ultimate vision is to preserve the integrity of our communities by ensuring clean waterways, harbors and coastal waters, along with a healthy water supply for generations to come.
We work to reach this vision through the following objectives:

Build a regional, collaborative approach to watershed management

Develop water quality solutions that meet the needs of both the environment and the community

Implement actions and programs that have well-defined, measurable results

Increase environmental awareness among citizens, students, policy makers and the business community

Ensure compliance with the Federal Clean Water Act and state, regional and local environmental laws
