Kids Care is a hands-on, elementary education program that teaches students about the dangers of trash in coastal habitats, how trash gets there, and most importantly, what they can do in their daily lives to help solve the problem. Designed for elementary students in grades 3 through 5, students are engaged through an interactive assembly and beach scavenger cleanup.
The program is one of the first service learning opportunity of its kind in Orange County for elementary school students. For Title 1 schools, the program is provided free of charge (including bus transportation) for one grade level.
