At Orange County Coastkeeper, our commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) remains at the heart of our mission to protect clean water for all. We recognize that true environmental progress is rooted in justice and requires an equitable approach that uplifts diverse perspectives and ensures that everyone has a voice.
This work cannot be done alone. The success of our clean water and resilient watershed initiatives depends on the support and involvement of the communities we serve. We remain dedicated to building partnerships with local organizations, Indigenous leaders, educators, and advocates who share our vision for clean and accessible waters.
Through our legal enforcement efforts, we challenge environmental injustices that disproportionately impact marginalized communities, ensuring that our waterways are safeguarded for future generations. Our coastal access initiatives break down barriers that prevent historically underserved communities from enjoying and benefiting from our coastlines. Through education and outreach, we empower the next generation of environmental stewards, fostering a deeper connection between people and their local watersheds.
By centering justice in all our programs, we are contributing to a movement that secures clean and resilient waters for everyone. We invite our supporters to join us in this ongoing work by engaging in our programs, amplifying diverse perspectives, and holding decision-makers accountable for equitable water policies. Together, we can ensure that clean water is not a privilege but a right for all.
