On October 18, 1972, President Nixon signed into law the Clean Water Act which regulates discharges of pollutants into the waters of the United States. This law was critical in establishing Orange County Coastkeeper and the larger Waterkeeper Alliance. In celebration of the act’s 50th anniversary, we invite you to “Toast the Coast” with us on October 7, 2022.

This event will serve as a celebration of every clean water victory up until this point as well as a renewal of our commitment to improving the Act. We’re proud to host this event alongside the Waterkeeper Alliance’s larger ACT50 campaign.

Toast the Coast will feature a silent auction, robust live entertainment, and delectable dinner.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2019 event!

Together, we raised $132,000! All the money raised from the evening helps us continue our mission of protecting and promoting swimming, drinkable, fishable water throughout the region. We’d like to give a special thanks to our major donors: The Law Office of Jennifer F. Novak, Chevron, SA Recycling, Contech Engineered Solutions, Southern California Edison, and Steve and Pat Bone.
