Genesee Ouyang

Education Programs Manager

Back to Our People

Genesee has lived in Orange County all her life and has always dreamed of working for an environmental non-profit organization. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management and Protection with a minor in Indigenous Studies in Natural Resources Management from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo in June of 2021. As education programs manager, she will be recruiting, coordinating, and instructing Coastkeeper’s education programs.

Before working at Orange County Coastkeeper, she had participated in a variety of activities working with children including volunteering for a special needs dance program called Everybody Dance Now, joining Sprout Up club on Cal Poly’s campus, and demonstrating dance to children ages four (4) through fifteen (15). When she’s not working, you can find her visiting friends, trying new restaurants, or at the farmer’s market.
