Membership

The dedication of our members empowers Orange County Coastkeeper to advocate for clean water and hold polluters accountable locally. As a member, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring swimmable, drinkable, fishable waters while enjoying exclusive benefits, including:

• Access to members-only events, including an annual member appreciation beach cleanup and BBQ
• Invitation to a quarterly virtual town hall, where members can help guide Coastkeeper’s work
• A dedicated group of clean water advocates fighting on your behalf

Our base membership is available to anyone who has donated $20 or completed two hours of volunteer service. Upgraded membership tiers with additional benefits are available to monthly supporters of Orange County Coastkeeper.

Additional Information

While going through the process of making a donation, you are given the option of “opting out” of receiving physical benefits from OC Coastkeeper. Should you choose benefits, the value of those benefits is removed from your overall donation. Per U.S. tax laws, you are receiving goods and services for the funds sent to OC Coastkeeper.

Physical membership benefits will be sent to donors after one of the following is complete: three monthly donations of the committed amount or one annual donation.

Base membership does not expire. OC Coastkeeper staff may periodically contact idle members to ensure they would still like to opt into the program.
