Sarah graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology – Climate Change and Human Solutions. Her coursework in coastal ecology piqued her interest in Southern California’s unique ecological systems.

After completing her undergraduate degree, Sarah earned her paralegal certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles Extension, and has gained experience working in state and federal civil litigation. She currently serves as a Paralegal at Orange County Coastkeeper.

Originally from Napa, California, Sarah developed her interest in the environment and passion for conservation during her childhood exploring the outdoors. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking, backpacking, and going to the beach.
