Coastal Cleanup Day, California’s largest annual volunteer event, returns on Saturday, September 19! Each year, thousands of volunteers come together to protect our waterways, remove trash from local communities, and raise awareness about marine debris pollution.
As Orange County’s regional coordinator, OC Coastkeeper helps organize more than 35 cleanup sites across the county, and this year, we’re hoping to grow even more.
We’re currently looking for volunteer Site Captains to lead local cleanups with support from our team. It’s a great opportunity to make a direct impact in your community while helping bring people together for a shared cause. We highly encourage leaders from local organizations, groups, clubs, and agencies to sign up!
