Join Orange County Coastkeeper for a hands-on workshop where you can craft a one-of-a-kind oyster shell ornament just in time for the holidays! We’re excited to partner with Buenas Coffee to bring this creative community event to their beautiful patio in Costa Mesa.

Each oyster shell is unique, and we’ll provide all materials, guidance, and inspiration to help you turn yours into a beautiful keepsake. Create your own ornament for a minimum $10 donation, or pick up a premade ornament for $15. All proceeds will benefit Coastkeeper’s marine restoration program.

When? Saturday, December 6 at 10 a.m.

Where? Buenas Coffee
150 Paularino Ave Building B, Costa Mesa, 92626

Let us know you’re coming! Registering your interest helps us prepare enough materials and staff to make the workshop run smoothly.

Participants will learn how native oyster restoration supports healthier coastlines and how Coastkeeper partners with local restaurants to recycle oyster shells through our Shells for Shorelines project. Every ornament you make helps Coastkeeper strengthen coastal habitats, improve local water quality, and stabilize eroding shorelines.

Stop by for a drink, get crafty, and take home a meaningful ocean-inspired ornament, all while supporting native oyster restoration in your community.
